Hire Skilled Indian Workers for Poland
Poland faces a structural labour shortage of over a million foreign workers even as unemployment stays near record lows. Manpower First has been deploying skilled Indian workers internationally since 1987 — now helping Polish employers hire Indian workers fast, through the Oświadczenie declaration route, Type A work permits, and the EU Blue Card.

Low Unemployment.
Deep Worker Shortage.
Niedobór pracowników to wyzwanie, które można rozwiązać.
Poland holds one of the European Union's lowest unemployment rates — yet employers across logistics, manufacturing, and construction cannot find enough workers. Youth emigration to Western Europe, an aging domestic workforce, and rapid economic growth have combined into a structural gap that local hiring alone cannot close.
Poland's own 2025–2030 labour market strategy assumes international workers must make up at least 12% of the national workforce going forward. India — with its large, English-capable, vocationally trained workforce — is one of the fastest-growing source markets filling that gap.
Roughly 20% of Poland's entire logistics workforce is now foreign-born — the single most acute shortage sector in the country.

India is already a recognised source country under Poland's fast-track declaration system — here's why employers keep coming back.
Fast-Track Eligibility Since 2022
Indian nationals were added to the Oświadczenie simplified declaration route in 2022 — no labour market test, registration at the local labour office, roles up to 24 months.
Deep Trade Experience
Decades of Indian export experience in warehousing, manufacturing, construction, and driving — the exact sectors driving Poland's shortage today.
Large, Ready Candidate Pool
Manpower First's pre-vetted database plus targeted open-market sourcing means shortlists ready in days, not months.
No Labour Market Test (Most Roles)
2025 reforms scrapped the requirement to prove no Polish candidate was available for most roles — a major speed-up for employers.
Deepening Diplomatic Ties
A India-Poland Parliamentary Friendship Group formed February 2026, and a bilateral Social Security Agreement for cross-border workers is being finalised.
English-Language Communication
Most warehouse, manufacturing, and construction roles require no prior Polish — on-site training and standardised processes make onboarding straightforward.
Where Poland Needs Indian Workers Most
Concentrated across Poland's logistics hubs — Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Poznań, Łódź, and the Tri-City (Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot).
Poland's 35+ million square metres of warehouse space makes logistics the single largest source of foreign work permits in the country — roughly 20% of the total. Warehouse managers, forklift operators, pickers, and inventory controllers are in constant demand, particularly around Łódź, Poznań, and the German border corridor.
Manufacturing has grown significantly as companies shift supply chains away from Asia into Central Europe. Automotive components, electronics assembly, and food processing are the fastest-growing sub-sectors, all facing the long-term effects of youth emigration on the domestic labour pool.
Construction remains one of Poland's most persistent shortage occupations, per the government's own Occupational Barometer — spanning site supervisors, project managers, and skilled tradespeople across public and private developments.
Poland's Occupational Barometer names doctors and nursing among the most persistent structural shortages in the country. Caregiving and elderly-care roles are also increasingly filled through foreign recruitment as Poland's population ages.
Trained Hands. Verified Skills.
Fast Deployment.
Every candidate Manpower First presents for Poland undergoes role-specific screening — trade tests where applicable, document verification, and interview coordination — before your team ever sees a profile. Whether it's a welder for a construction site in Wrocław or a machine operator for a plant near Poznań, the vetting standard is the same.
Prosty proces, szybkie rezultaty — a simple process, delivering fast results for Polish employers.

India and Poland Are
Deepening Ties in 2026
Poland doesn't yet have a formal government-to-government migration pact like Germany's — but the relationship is moving quickly, and employers benefit from every step.
Oświadczenie Extended to India
India was added to the nationalities eligible for Poland's simplified declaration route — a de facto recognition of India as a priority labour source, even without a formal treaty.
Parliamentary Friendship Group
India's Lok Sabha constituted a dedicated India-Poland Parliamentary Friendship Group, deepening legislative dialogue between the two countries.
Social Security Agreement
Both governments are working to finalise a bilateral Social Security Agreement, which will make social security contributions portable for cross-border workers — protecting Indian employees working in Poland.

Type A is Poland's standard permit, filed at the regional Urząd Wojewódzki, used for roles beyond 24 months or outside Oświadczenie eligibility. Since June 2025, most employers no longer need a labour market test, significantly shortening realistic timelines.
The EU Blue Card suits degree-holding candidates in IT, engineering, or senior technical roles, requiring a salary near 150% of the Polish average wage. Blue Card holders gain EU-wide mobility after just 12 months — one of the strongest benefits of any Polish route.
